Like many mainline congregations, it wasn’t so long ago that we were mostly an older congregation with few children. In recent years, we’ve become a goodly blend of young and old, and we are exploring new ways of meeting the needs of our children, all of whom are under the age of 10.
The first thing you will notice is that children are included in worship in a substantive way, especially when we share communion. We have begun an annual summer camp, and enjoy craft days periodically.
We’re delighted with our Noah’s Ark – be sure to check it out when you visit! -- and the beautiful and inviting murals in our children’s space.
